The global energy landscape is rapidly evolving, with a growing emphasis on sustainability and renewable energy sources. Solar energy, in particular, plays a crucial role in reducing carbon emissions and mitigating climate change. However, the intermittent nature of solar power poses challenges for grid integration and efficient energy management. This paper explores the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in photovoltaic (PV) systems to enhance performance, reduce Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), and improve overall sustainability. We present a comprehensive analysis of IoT applications in PV systems, focusing on real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and adaptive energy management strategies. Our findings demonstrate that IoT-enabled PV systems can significantly improve energy yield, reduce operational costs, and extend system lifespan, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and efficient energy infrastructure.
