An Overview of Analytical Methods Utilized for Microbiological and Physiochemical Characterization of Locally Grown Agricultural Crops During Solar Drying
摘要
Solar drying is sustainable and cost-effective method for preserving crops, and understanding the changes microbiological and physiochemical properties is crucial for ensuring products quality and safety. In this paper we focus about of the analytical method using for the microbiological and physiochemical characterization effected for locally grown agriculture crops during the solar drying including microbial load, presence of the pathogens, and spoilage organisms. Additionally, the paper we explores the analytical methods used for to evaluate the physiochemical attributes, including chemical composition such as moisture, ash,fat,protein.etc. Nutritional compounds such as minerals and vitamins, physical properties as texture, colour, density, sensory characteristics as test odor, appearance. Hence, achieving the goal of desirable high quality of dried agriculture crops is heavily dependent on effective processing involving drying and physiochemical and microbiological analytic methods.
