Simplified ISO 21502 Project Management Applied in a Fintech Case Study
摘要
This chapter provides best practices by illustrating how a simplified ISO 21502 project management (PM) framework was applied in a New York, USA-based financial-technology (Fintech) industry case study. According to the literature, the rationale was based on the established metric that over half of global projects have failed. The research goal was to improve the body of knowledge to assist stakeholders around the world, particularly emerging PM practitioners, by sharing simplified PM best practices. The research question was how and why a simplified ISO PM framework was applied in a Fintech case study using several critical PM tools, techniques, artifacts, theories, and models. The ISO 21502 standard was leveraged to describe the best practices because this standard is international and accessible to all practitioners without any potential bias towards a specific PM association or country.
