In this brief concluding reflection, I review the analysis and arguments made over the course of the book and reassert the case for an accented approach to city-nation relations in Italy and elsewhere. I evaluate the position of Naples and cultural production addressing Naples today, thirty years into the Second Republic, and reassert the central role played by cultural production in reconceptualizing and reframing the relationship between Naples and the nation.
