Interaction from Structure-Activity Relation Perspective
摘要
The well-known principles that drive the drug-drug interactions provide important clues toward our understanding of the outcome of food-drug interactions. Understanding the interplay between structure and activity is crucial in medicinal chemistry and pharmacology. By analyzing these relationships, researchers can develop more effective therapeutic agents (medications and nutrition) with interaction profiling. Hence, this chapter focuses on interactions involving drugs, cofactors, coenzymes, and compounds produced in the biochemical processes.
