One of the effective methods of emulsion separation is thermal. Heat leads to a large number of droplet collisions and to a decrease in the viscosity of the oil, which provides a higher chance of settling. Nevertheless, it is necessary to select the modes of thermal action on the emulsion system so that this does not lead to the opposite result. It was noticed as a result of the work that droplet deposition occurs more intensively in the central part of the cell and slows down in the wall areas, which is associated with the movement occurring in the emulsion, directed downwards in the center of the cell and up along the walls. The upward flow slows down the deposition of emulsion droplets in areas close to the walls.
