Poincare Graphs
摘要
In 1890, French mathematician Henri Poincare developed graphs that bear his name, that are now used in physics, astronomy, geophysics, meteorology, biological mathematics, and medicine. Poincare plots are similar to Lorenz points. Poincare graphs are valuable in Holter analysis for the following reasons: (1) detection of changes in heart rate variability; (2) detection of atrial fibrillation or paroxysmal atrial flutter with irregular RR intervals; (3) identification of atrial or ventricular ectopic beats; (4) identification of pauses in cardiac activity; (5) Confirmation of the automatic diagnostics proposed by the Holter software and (6) Artifact detection.
