Case 30: The Type of Spontaneous Termination of Focal Atrial Tachycardia
摘要
A 16-year-old female patient presented frequent episodes of tachycardia, characterized by an increased heart rate of 160–180 beats per minute with a duration of 2–4 h. Initially, she received Bisoprolol, however, due to inadequate response to beta blocker therapy, she was transitioned to Flecainide. The last episode under Bisoprolol had a duration of 1 h. With medication the episodes of tachycardia decreased in frequency and duration. The left ventricular function was normal, despite multiple episodes of tachycardia. During Holter monitoring, the patient developed symptoms and experienced repeated episodes of tachycardia. Therefore, she was scheduled for catheter ablation (Figs. 36.1, 36.2, 36.3, 36.4, 36.5, 36.6, 36.7, 36.8, 36.9, 36.10, 36.11, 36.12, 36.13, 36.14, 36.15, and 36.16).
