Case 29: Idiopathic Neonatal Atrial Flutter
摘要
A full-term newborn with recurrent episodes of arrhythmia since week 36 is evaluated in the Neonatology clinic for an elevated heart rate of 260 bpm. The arrhythmia stopped with the administration of Flecainide intravenously at a dosage of 1 mg/kg in bolus, and the newborn’s heart activity was continuously monitored afterwards using a Holter ECG (Figs. 35.1, 35.2, 35.3, 35.4, 35.5, 35.6, 35.7, 35.8, 35.9, 35.10, 35.11, 35.12, 35.13, and 35.14).
