Case 23: Low-Risk Accessory Pathway in a 6-Year-Old Boy
摘要
During a pre-anesthetic consultation for inguinal hernia surgery, a 6-year-old child was detected with ventricular preexcitation. The ECG showed short PR interval and delta wave. He never experienced palpitations. The echocardiogram showed a normal heart, with a functional systolic murmur and no specific anatomical abnormalities. A noninvasive risk evaluation of the accessory pathway was requested using Holter ECG and Stress Test before the upcoming hernia operation (Figs. 29.1, 29.2, 29.3, 29.4, 29.5, 29.6, 29.7, 29.8, 29.9, 29.10, 29.11, 29.12, 29.13, and 29.14).
