This chapter aims to discuss some considerations to allow a prompt and early diagnosis of abdominal neoplasms in children, differentiating benign from malignant tumors and, regarding the latter, reducing the mortality rates through an early diagnosis. Thus, specific considerations for each pediatric malignancy (Wilms tumor, neuroblastoma, lymphoma, etc.) will not be discussed in these pages, that focus on the importance of an early diagnosis and on some of the clinical manifestations and investigation tools that may help to guide the diagnosis and correct referral to a pediatric oncology center.
