Neck masses are a common complaint among patients of all ages. Neck masses can be divided into three categories based on their etiology: neoplasia, congenital, and inflammatory. In this chapter, pathologies of greater significance, some of which are considered surgical emergencies, will be discussed.

Neck masses are a common complaint among patients of all ages. Neck masses can be divided into three categories based on their etiology: neoplasia, congenital, and inflammatory.
