Esophageal Tumors
摘要
A variety of benign and malignant tumors can arise in the esophagus. Benign tumors can be epithelial, such as polyps, adenomas, papillomas, and cysts, or non-epithelial, such as myomas, fibromas, and lipomas. However, benign neoplasms are infrequent, representing less than 1% of esophageal tumors. The most common benign tumor, leiomyoma, comprises about 80% of benign neoplasms.
