摘要

We construct a continuous, aggregated, and dynamic model for the exploitation of gas fields. The model takes into account the depth of deposit occurrence. As a control element, the model makes use of the drilling speed at each field. In the model, we assume that the changes in the average flow rate of producing wells and current natural gas production are proportional. We formulate the problem of maximising discounted accumulated income for two gas fields. We study the optimal control problem with a free right end and a fixed time. To solve the problem, we use Pontryagin’s maximum principle. We thoroughly investigate the special mode of optimal control. We identify the key aspects of this management.
