Indirect Bonding
摘要
The main objective of any aspect of the orthodontic treatment is to provide precise, accurate, and predictable tooth movements. This should in turn be translated into excellent treatment outcomes. The newest CAD/CAM softwares have been programmed with these objectives as the primary focus during their development. These innovative solutions give the possibility for the users to select a compatible type of bracket from a stored library within the software programme providing the unique advantage of positioning the brackets in an ideal position, saving clinical time during the bonding procedure. This pre-chosen and very accurately defined tooth positioning of the bracket is used to generate a template for indirect bonding. This chapter aims to describe the processes involved in digitally-driven indirect bonding techniques.
