The Liberal Media Would Rather Support a Populist than a Socialist

American conservatives believe the mainstream media is beholden to the “Left.” They frequently complain that the country’s top news media companies, such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, and MSNBC, indiscreetly support left-wing ideas and beliefs. As a result, they accuse them of media bias. But what do conservatives mean when they say the “Left?” In the United States, the term “liberal,” or rather the “left-wing of the Democratic Party,” is synonymous with the “Left.”
