Chapter 5 examines the harassment charges levelled against several other successful women who, like professors Gallop, Ronell, and Stubblefield, were subject to false and exaggerated harassment charges—how the allegations against them and the institutional responses to the allegations were characterized by hostility, ambiguity, inconsistency, and/or minimal evidence of harm to their putative victims.
