“A Predator Preying on Their Prey”

Chapter 4 tells the story of another successful female professor, Anna Stubblefield, who was treated as a pariah for sexual offenses which appear far less severe than offenses attributed to male professors from her own and comparable institutions. This chapter shows how the public image of a woman who dedicated much of her life to opposing racism and supporting individuals with disabilities could be recast as a racist and predator.
