The advent of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) has facilitated the feasibility of developing industrial systems that use digital technology. Previously, this was deemed impractical. The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), also referred to as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), constitutes an integral component within the IIoT framework. This technology allows industrial stakeholders to efficiently recognize items and establish a connection between IoT time-series data and the identified entities. Moreover, the utilization of cloud services enables the seamless exchange of data originating from Internet of Things (IoT) devices, hence streamlining the process of information sharing and facilitating informed decision-making pertaining to production. The project entails the development of a secure access management system for industrial data on the cloud-based Internet of Industrial Things (IIoT). The method offers participants the chance to limit access to their Internet of Things data through the utilization of ciphertext policy-attribute-based encryption (CP-ABE) in highly particular manners. The proposed solution utilizes a hybrid cloud infrastructure, enabling customers to entrust the cloud service with computationally and resource-intensive CPABE tasks, while alleviating concerns over data security. Significantly, the proposed approach effectively tackles the issue of key leakage by establishing a novel forms of data privacy specifically designed for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, referred to as “item-level data protection.” By employing a range of diverse encryption and optimization approaches, one can successfully attain these objectives.
