The ability of any organization to maintain its vital staff over the long term is critically important to its health and performance. It is generally known that retaining the best employees ensures happy customers, contentment among teammates and subordinates, effective succession planning, and profoundly embedded organizational learning. This study gives a broad overview of the reasons why the number of employees leaving the apparel company has increased over the past few years. Keeping personnel is one of the most crucial continuous procedures in human resource management. Employee turnover is a serious threat to the organization. Numerous groups from practically all nations are dealing with the issue. Organizations are experimenting with various strategies to maximize employee output without involving them. One of the critical elements that could contribute to getting the desired results is retention. This paper details employee retention, including its advantages and potential contributing causes. A sample of 470 respondents who worked for garment companies in Bangladesh provided the primary data. Numerous hypotheses have been developed, evaluated, and considered while considering various relationships. The study results show a significant connection between technological innovations and employee retention. This study will assist the developing country’s garment sector in identifying the numerous aspects contributing to higher turnover and revising its current regulations to make future advancements.
