An Assessment Performed on the Secure Transmission of Messages to a Target Device Through the Utilization of TCP and UDP Protocols
摘要
This research study introduces a novel cryptographic technique that leverages the Media Access Control (MAC) address of a designated device for the purpose of transmitting encrypted data. The technique under consideration implements encryption and decryption procedures for both TCP and UDP protocols, with the transmitter and receiver sides being responsible for these operations, respectively. The encryption procedure employs ASCII values and random integers to generate a secure ciphertext, while incorporating the MAC address of the recipient within the message format to guarantee authorization and mitigate unlawful entry. The efficacy of the suggested algorithm in enhancing security is assessed by comparing its performance with existing cryptography algorithms.
