There are many moving parts in the talent acquisition process, including exchanges between job seekers and companies. The human resources hiring and selection process is only one area that has been impacted by the current technological shift. In recent years, digital media has grown increasingly relevant in the context of talent acquisition. The purpose of this study is to conduct a bibliographic evaluation of scientific work that discusses the use and effects of online media in the talent acquisition sector in a cohesive manner. Scopus, a scholarly publication database, was searched, and the resulting 85 articles were narrowed down to 78 that were considered for further study. The Bibliometric software was used to compile the data, which included statistics on output per year as well as analyses of publications, writers’ materials, keywords, etc. The findings indicate that the use of digital media for hiring employees in the financial services, banking, and insurance industries is an emerging field with steady expansion and promising prospects. However, it is important to note that this area of study is quite narrow in scope, as most studies have only examined the role of electronic media in hiring and selection procedures, ignoring other areas with substantial room for development.
