Crop protection and Agri-health are essential for the viability and survival of agriculture in the current period of climate change. The last ten years have witnessed the implementation of automated, intelligent, and accurate operations in line with precision agriculture health and digital Agri 1.0 to Agri 4.0 models. Crop protection has improved over time with the application of technology. The current work focuses on Agri5.0, the subsequent evolution that will facilitate a new era of smart crop management with autonomous operations, managed decision-making processes, and a decreasing amount of human labour aided by effective Machine Learning (ML) algorithms and Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems. This study's findings suggest that a new era of intelligent agriculture management, with a particular emphasis on agricultural automation, will usher in under the banner of Agri 5.0. According to the research presented in this paper, Agri 5.0 is the most recent iteration of precision agriculture, with the goal of enhancing crop management through the application of cutting-edge technology like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics.
