Smart Parking System Using Fog Computing
摘要
It might be difficult to obtain a parking place in a high-traffic location, especially during rush hour. Completing a parking routine like that consumes a lot of time and gas, plus pollution from automobile emissions. The notion of “smart parking,” which makes use of ICTs (Information and Communication Technologies) such automobile Ad hoc networks to facilitate the effortless finding of parking spaces is gaining popularity. But by using these can not give complete satisfactory solution. The purpose of this research is to improve parking efficiency in the real world by introducing a smart parking architecture that is powered by fog computing. With the help of other fog nodes in the parking garage, parking requests may be fulfilled and parking spots shared in real time. The results of our experimental evaluations significantly improve efficiency. The proposed smart parking system based on fog computing has ability to reduce expenses associated with parking as well as fuel use and car emissions.
