This article introduces SmartFish, a revolutionary smart platform that integrates blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) to revolutionize the fishing industry. This platform allows fishermen to collect and share important data about marine resources in real time through the use of advanced IoT sensors. The data collected, including information on fish species, environmental conditions and emergency alerts, is secure and immutable using Ethereum blockchain technology. Thus, ensures its integrity and transparency. In addition, SmartFish integrates an AI-based Faster R-CNN (Region-based Convolutional Neural Network) model to automatically analyze caught fish species, improve stock management and understand marine biodiversity. The data is time-stamped, encrypted and stored securely, allowing marine authorities to assess fish stocks, identify trends and take action for sustainable resource management. By deploying smart contracts on Ganache, a native blockchain network, before integrating it with Ethereum, the article demonstrates the effectiveness of SmartFish. This successful integration of IoT, AI and blockchain technology into the fishing industry provides an innovative solution for data collection, analysis and management, thus contributing to the conservation of marine ecosystems and the promotion of responsible fishing.
