In the field of biomedical engineering, there has been a significant rise in the development of dry electrodes to enhance comfortability, reusability and long-term monitoring of Electromyography (EMG) and Electrocardiography (ECG). There are multiple studies in making the electrode fabrications more accessible and reproducible with off-the-shelf materials and machines. This study proposes another design of flexible dry electrodes using resin and conductive ink, and an in-house fabrication process using a desktop 3D printer. The 3D-printed electrodes were tested against the conventional AgCl electrodes, showing equivalent quality in acquiring EMG and ECG data. This electrode design will allow engineers and researchers to replicate and modify with easy for elaborated research of remote and non-invasive monitoring of muscular and cardiac activities.

摘要
