Covid-19 pandemic has changed the emotions and lives of people unprecedently. Most of them work remotely from home globally. Covid-19 has changed the academic life, tourism, entertainment and small businesses radically. This landmark of mobility lockdown has embarked the need for survival strategies. Phased reopening from June 2020 was made possible with quarantine measures and social distancing measures. Quarantine measures are expensive. With economic crisis, people have resorted to robbery wearing masks. Preventing the spread of this global virus outbreak and bringing back the normality is the need of the hour. As a secured defensive measure, we have developed a pilot quarantine model to mitigate the air-borne spread of Covid-19 in workplace with augmented personalized security check. To prevent intruders with mask amongst workmen, their identity is verified using facial recognition. Face recognition using OpenCV Eigen Face Recognizer methodology was used to identify the legitimate integrity of the employee during this pandemic. A Mask detection system ensures that the employee wears his mask always. As employees return to the worksite, health screening is a preparedness plan. Personal health checks are performed using sensors and appropriate alerts are notified to the healthcare department for preventive measures. Attendance of the employee is monitored and recorded along with Timestamp. Mask detection for safety along with face recognition for employee authorization using Image processing and OpenCV; along with healthcare workplace solutions using sensors are the major contributions in this standalone workplace solutions.
