Imaging of Nontraumatic Hepatobiliary Emergencies
摘要
Patients with nontraumatic hepatobiliary emergencies usually present with right upper quadrant abdominal pain, and biliary tract disease is the fifth most common cause of hospital admission. Gallbladder pathologies and other etiologies including infectious, inflammatory, vascular, and postoperative complications can be evaluated on imaging. Being familiar with various imaging appearances of all hepatobiliary disorders is important to provide optimal patient care and equally important is to understand the limitations of each imaging modality.
