Theatrical improvisers use the sentence “the end is in the beginning” to honor that what they create over the course of their performance (un)intentionally (re)appears as the performance comes to a close (Bowman, 2022). As we close out the performance of this book, the authors intentionally return to the interplays of what, how, and why we have created (this book) and make “final-not-final” offers to improvise with and in higher education.

摘要

Theatrical improvisers use the sentence “the end is in the beginning” to honor that what they create over the course of their performance (un)intentionally (re)appears as the performance comes to a close (Bowman, 2022). As we close out the performance of this book, the authors intentionally return to the interplays of what, how, and why we have created (this book) and make “final-not-final” offers to improvise with and in higher education.
