Scene 9: Teaching During the Pandemic: The Art of Creating Class Environments Full of Creativity, Performance, and Technology
摘要
This chapter will address students’ perceptions about the use of the performance approach by university teachers. It evaluates professors’ preparation and teaching during the pandemic. This chapter will also identify and describe how the performance approach was key to supporting students’ motivation for learning and improving their personal, academic, and professional lives. In other words, the use of the performance approach was offered in order to keep learners’ attention and build comradery in remote classes. The chapter presents and analyzes examples of classroom activities, highlighting their objectives, pedagogical potential, and the transformations experienced by both instructors and students. These cases are drawn from two public undergraduate education programs—UPNECH and UACJ—offered in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
