Exploring the Mind-Body Connection: Imagination and Cultural Perspectives in Self-knowledge and Everyday Life

As a doctoral researcher studying the correlation between musical learning and proprioception within the Cultural Historical Psychology, I offer insights into the key points raised in each article. The first chapter explores the transformative role of imagination in multicultural education and stress prevention, while the second delves into the cultural influences on individuals’ perceptions of mind and body constructs. This chapter presents reflective commentary based on my approach to the topic. Initially, I aim to provide foundational insights into the chapters, delineating notable aspects, followed by an exposition of my perspectives through reflective analysis and suggestions for potential avenues of future inquiry. The selection of these chapters was predicated on their alignment with my research focus, which constitutes a focal point of my doctoral studies, thereby substantiating their relevance and significance in contributing to scholarly discourse.
