This study highlights the importance of introducing digital technologies into preschool education and the need to study their impact on the development of preschool children. The main challenge is to find a balance between the potential benefits that the digital educational environment can provide and the disadvantages associated with methodological support and limitations on the use of technology in preschool age. Therefore, it is necessary to determine new approaches to the content of education, which involves selecting and testing the effectiveness of the proposed digital equipment aimed at enriching the digital developmental subject-spatial environment in kindergartens. These requirements make the study of new possibilities of the digital space in the professional activities of a teacher extremely important and interesting. The significance of the problem lies in the fact that, on the one hand, there is a positive impact of the digital educational environment on improving the quality of education, and on the other hand, there is a critically small amount of experimental material, structured methodological tools (recommendations and manuals), as well as restrictions from regulatory documents on the use of digital technology with preschoolers. Insufficient knowledge of the potential of digital tools in the development of regulatory functions reveals the relevance and promise of the study. The goal is to determine and describe the process of filling and enriching the developing subject-spatial environment of a kindergarten with modern digital equipment that promotes the development of motor activity and the cognitive sphere. To achieve the goal, a theoretical review of research was conducted regarding the impact and design of digital learning environments in early childhood settings, as well as the potential of digital tools to improve regulatory functions. The authors analyzed digital gaming devices that can fill and enrich the digital educational space of a kindergarten. Conclusions: according to the presented review, the use of interactive digital equipment in preschool educational organizations can have a positive impact on the development of various areas in older preschoolers. Games using such equipment contribute to the development of elementary mathematical concepts, thinking, imagination, memory and attention; enrichment of active vocabulary, formed dialogical speech; development of gross motor skills and coordination of movements; increasing the level of motivation through outdoor games.
