Readiness of University Teachers to Implement Modern Means of Digital Learning Environment
摘要
Russia’s transition to a new technological paradigm, namely the digital economy, requires a change in approaches to personnel training in the higher education system. Domestic as well as foreign practice shows that modern digital technologies have been introduced in almost all sectors of material and non-material production and are now used everywhere. This has led to qualitative changes in production, as well as in the modern education system, which is an integral part of the economic structure of national economies. New societal demands for accessibility and quality of information, together with the ever-increasing popularity of the Internet and the increasing number of users of mobile devices and gadgets, have led to a change in the demand for the use of modern means of digital learning resources. To meet the basic requirements of the digital economy, a modern education system should aim at improving people’s knowledge and skills. This can be achieved through digital technologies embedded in education and people’s everyday lives. In addition, the digital competencies of teachers and their digital literacy should be enhanced. To provide high quality and effective education, we need to create an optimal environment together with a new digital learning strategy that will integrate and empower the digital environment. Nevertheless, due to the continuous professional development and development of new skills in the interactive space of the digital ecosystem, questions regarding the social adaptation of the population in the digital environment remain relevant.
