In this chapter, the author investigates a model which he used to prove universality results about cellular automata in hyperbolic spaces. That use was systematic and it evolves in order to refine the results, the refinement most often aiming at reducing the number of states while keeping intact the considered property of universality. It might be interesting for the reader to follow that quest and how the changes in the implementation of the model allowed the author to reach his goal.

Evolution of a Model

摘要

In this chapter, the author investigates a model which he used to prove universality results about cellular automata in hyperbolic spaces. That use was systematic and it evolves in order to refine the results, the refinement most often aiming at reducing the number of states while keeping intact the considered property of universality. It might be interesting for the reader to follow that quest and how the changes in the implementation of the model allowed the author to reach his goal.
