Synchronization and Control of Cellular Automata
摘要
Deterministic Cellular Automata are spatially-extended highly non-linear dynamical systems. Probabilistic Cellular automata are extended stochastic systems. Both versions are widely used for modeling phenomena in many disciplines. The possibility of controlling their behavior is therefore an important topic, but the method used for low-dimensional systems cannot be applied. We shall revise here some aspects of control theory applied to such special systems, and their relationships with the concept of chaos and synchronization of discrete, extended systems.
