The ore properties of a phosphate ore were analyzed and the beneficiability tests were carried out in this paper. The main components of a phosphate ore were apatite, dolomite, quartz, a small amount of calcite, pyrite, carbonaceous and clay minerals. Under the grinding fineness -0.074mm of 80%, a phosphorus concentrate grade of 31.53% and a recovery rate of 65.29% was obtained through an open-circuit process of one roughing and three cleaning with the combined reagent of sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and KZ, and the grade of MgO in the concentrate was 1.67%. This provides certain technical support for the further processing and utilization of phosphate rock.
