Research and Experimentation on Integrated Acceleration Technology for Deep Strata in Kuqa Area

According to the drilling numbers of deep gravel and hard mudstone formations in piedmont area, the engineering geological difficulties of deep formations in piedmont area are analyzed and studied. In view of the poor rock breaking effect and short life of deep formation bit in front of Kuqa mountain, PDC bit with strong impact resistance was designed based on mixed tooth layout technology and tooth layout optimization design. By selecting the tools suitable for the optimization design of PDC bit with strong impact resistance, an integrated speed raising technology suitable for deep gravel formation and hard mudstone formation in front of Kuqa Mountain is formed. Through the field test of 2 Wells, the mechanical drilling rate has increased by more than 50% compared with the same period last year, and the speed increase effect is remarkable, which provides an important reference for drilling speed increase in deep gravel formation and hard mudstone formation in China.
