Dye vs. Fiducial Marking for Targeted Sublobar and Wedge Resection
摘要
Sublobar resection is now an established surgical modality for a select group of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). For patients with subsolid nodules, palpation is not feasible or very difficult during surgery and presurgical nodule localization can help guide sublobar resection. Traditionally, localization has been performed using computed tomography-guided percutaneous techniques which include hook wire placement, micro coil placement, dye marking or a combination of these techniques. Recent developments and improvements in navigation and robotic assisted bronchoscopy platforms and advancements in external imaging guidance during bronchoscopic procedures offer opportunities for less invasive, safer and potentially precise bronchoscopic techniques to assist with nodule localization. This chapter is a systematic review of the literature on this subject matter.
