The innovative, small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in this chapter of the Case Collection represent different sectors and industries. Companies from the building materials industry, the recycling industry, the textile industry, and the packaging industry are represented here Two corporate cases has found their way into this chapter because they are important to showcase. Now, the construction industry and the packaging industry are some of the industries that meet legal requirements for green and circular transition and the first industries to transform due to the EU Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP). These two industries generate a lot of waste, and a transformation will mitigate some of the major negative impacts on the planet in terms of climate change, resource efficiency, and on wild nature and biodiversity. This Chapter includes 10 company cases for inspiration, especially into the circular economy.
