The impacts from the Nordics including all three scopes are reviewed in the framework of the Climate Nexus to describe the transition level, challenges and review selected corporates from relevant sectors that strongly influence the sustainable impacts of the Nordics and in some cases also globally. The environmental impacts is the main subject to the review here, as the social impacts in the Nordics are highly covered by regulation and the public social welfare and healthcare so significant for this region. The Nordic region is by many considered at the forefront of the sustainable transition and this chapter will give insights to the transition of energy supply, landuse, agriculture, forestry and fishery, transportation, and the circular economy. This chapter includes a review of 29 selected corporates in the Nordics representing the sectors and the state of their transition broadly.
