The Increase in the Production of the Defence Industry in Central Europe and the Risks Arising from It
摘要
The deterioration of the security situation in Ukraine, with an impact on Europe, forced European countries to reconsider their relationships with defence industry. Political declarations and the allocation of funds to increase the production capacities of weapons and ammunition in Europe bring, on the one hand, positive investments in new technologies; on the other hand, they increase the risk of industrial accidents associated with incorrect handling during production, transportation, or storage. Other threats include sabotage, theft and illegal sale of weapons and ammunition to criminal and terrorist groups and their subsequent misuse.
