The blast load application in metal technologies is not collected as technology processes. In the engineering practice, explosive processes are not standard technologies. Traditional metal technologies such as welding, forming, and hardening are well studied and introduced in several literatures. This review is made to introduce explosive welding technology for engineering applications. It focused on explosive welding processes knowledge. The goal is to summarize the most essential information about the processes’ parameters and applicability. The explosive welding parameter determination is introduced with theoretical and empirical background on the base of the literature.
