Energy communities will be key members of the energy network as accounting entities within few years. They need infrastructure, communication solutions and therefore protection against cyber threats. The recent events in the world have shown that energy infrastructure is always a first row point of attack and the weakest part will be threatened when coming to opposition. In this paper, the major aspects have been collected for the proper security solution of energy communities (ECs), assuming the most obvious current technical solutions.
