A Help System for Optimizing Complex Ordering Configurations Based on Cognitive Decision Model

The order page configuration items of the cloud computing platform are numerous and complex, and a perfect help system can reduce the difficulty of user to understand and operate the configuration, otherwise, the cloud purchase processes would be blocked, or even abandoned. Therefore, the effectiveness of the help system is crucial to user experience and the commercial value of cloud products. The purpose of this study is to guide the optimization of the order page help system through the investigation based on cognitive decision model. This paper is divided into three parts. First, the functional characteristics and corresponding design components of different help systems are analyzed. Next, based on the definition and composition of the cognitive decision model, a mapping relationship is formed with the help process of users. Finally, by comparing availability data indicators before and after optimization, it is verified that the optimized help system improves the self-help rate, task completion rate and satisfaction.
