This paper explores the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the Distribution System Operators (DSOs) sector. It highlights advancements in predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, and energy management, emphasizing how AI can optimize energy distribution and enhance operational efficiency. The methodology includes a comprehensive literature review, data collection from various sources, and the application of machine learning algorithms for cybersecurity and energy optimization. Results demonstrate the effectiveness of AI in addressing engineering challenges, optimizing energy usage, and improving fault diagnosis in energy systems.
