Exploring the Interplay Between Industrial Food Production and Sustainable Waste Solutions
摘要
All global economies depend on the world's largest sector, food, which includes many processing industries. The massive global population growth has increased demand for ready-to-eat food and food production. One-third of human-consumed food is wasted worldwide, according to food and agricultural institutions. Rapid urbanisation and industrialisation have produced a lot of solid waste, which harms the environment and people and requires modern disposal systems worldwide. To achieve this, we evaluate current food waste methods. The categorization process is tested for industrial sustainable waste management, and the next challenge is balancing future demand and long-term supply. A comprehensive approach is used in this chapter to understand food waste types and apply them to stain-resistant food waste management systems.
