Digital transformation has caused significant changes in the value creation process through the intensive use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs). In this context, this research aims to propose a digital transformation model for a University Restaurant (UR) in relation to its users. Using a Design Science Research method, the study sought, within the scope of URs, to map digital solutions for interaction with users, identify the main barriers and limitations in the adoption of digital solutions, define potential technologies, and develop a model of digital transformation and validate it with experts and stakeholders. The artifact consists of exposing management guidelines for digital transformation specific to the UR, in addition to creating mockups of a management system and an application designed, respectively, for managers and users. The proposed artifact proved capable of solving or minimizing problems faced daily, meeting new demands, generating and managing data relevant to decision-making, reducing costs and increasing efficiency, and benefiting users and managers. The artifact was demonstrated to specialists who evaluated it as viable, economical and highly beneficial. Additionally, this research provides important contributions to the scientific literature in the area which, up to now and regarding the correlation between digital solutions and restaurants, is still scarce when it addresses public restaurants.

摘要
