Yes or No: The Excluded Third-Party Trap

One of the major dangers of our time is the inability to debate with others when they claim different values from those we ourselves accept. This difficulty stems in particular from the confusion between “accuracy” and “truth,” as well as the epistemological dualism between “subject” and “object.” Recognizing levels of reality and the tie that goes with them thus requires us to abandon binary logic and adopt traditional Eastern logics that admit several levels of understanding of reality.
