The intersegmental arteries are a collection of 30 arteries from the dorsal aorta, each supplying one somite and its derivatives. The left subclavian artery arises from the seventh intersegmental artery; the right subclavian artery develops in several segments. Its proximal segment originates from the fourth aortic arch, also known as the systemic arch, its medial segment from the dorsal aorta, and its distal segment from the seventh intersegmental artery (Kau et al. 2007; Gailloud 2014).

摘要

The intersegmental arteries are a collection of 30 arteries from the dorsal aorta, each supplying one somite and its derivatives. The left subclavian artery arises from the seventh intersegmental artery; the right subclavian artery develops in several segments. Its proximal segment originates from the fourth aortic arch, also known as the systemic arch, its medial segment from the dorsal aorta, and its distal segment from the seventh intersegmental artery (Kau et al. 2007; Gailloud 2014).
