Veins of the Foot
摘要
The venous drainage of the foot consists of deep and superficial systems. The plantar digital veins, originating from a plexus, merge with the dorsal digital veins to form four plantar metatarsal veins. These veins run between the metatarsals, creating the deep plantar venous arch. The lateral and medial plantar veins emerge from this arch and contribute to the short and great saphenous veins before forming the posterior tibial vein.
